Diet Soda Makes You Fat! What the Fitness | Biolayne

Dave Asprey’s citation that aspartame makes you fat:

Not only was this study in rats, it did NOT show that aspartame made them fat. The group eating aspartame actually ate LESS calories, gained LESS weight, and had better body composition than the group not getting aspartame. EPIC FAIL.

The study did show that the aspartame group had a modification to their gut microbiome & insulin sensitivity, however, NO STUDIES IN HUMANS replicate these findings (see below)
