In this quick video I discuss the recent article about Crossfit’s ‘Dirty Little Secret’ that has generated so much buzz and fear. I talk about why the article technically isn’t wrong, but that in my opinion it’s blowing a tiny problem up in order to generate buzz. That said, some people have experienced rhabdomyolysis and you should always consult your doctor before beginning a new exercise program. For what it’s worth, I think most of this can be laid at the feet of irresponsible trainers who don’t bother to properly introduce people into an exercise program but just try to put them into something super intense to make them sore so they felt like they did something.
