Norton says that most Americans eat hi protein by definition of the RDA, but mostly from processed meat. Studies have found that at the highest intake of protein but with the highest intake of fruits and vegetables, the incidence of cancer is the same as the lowest level of meat intake with the highest level of fruits and vegetable intake. Rather, what makes a lot of difference is the overall diet quality.
